OUR CLIENT
Our client is a full-service law firm serving a growing roster of diverse public and private clients in the state of California. The firm is ranked tier one in many practice areas including commercial litigation.
THE POSITION
The firm is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney who also has a broad experience in bankruptcy, and employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Persuasive legal writing in court briefs
Representing clients in hearings and law and motion proceedings
Reviewing and interpreting contracts
Researching and advising clients on various legal issues
Preparing for, taking, and defending depositions
Legal research
Propounding and responding to discovery.
REQUIREMENTS
2-5 years of litigation experience; employment litigation is a plus but not required
Exceptional research and writing skills, and a superior academic background
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including contracts
Interest in business litigation and love of competition
Ability to effectively work with people, exercise sound judgment, and establish and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues
Must be able to multi-task, creatively problem-solve, and complete projects efficiently
Ambition to succeed and prosper
COMPENSATION
$110,000 - $145,000/year depending on experience
