Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Office Coordinator/Receptionist to join its law firm. This position is ideal for an experienced legal assistant looking for the opportunity to take on more responsibilities in the areas of office management, light legal assistance, and administrative support.
The Office Coordinator will support 3 main areas of the business: (1) Office/Facilities maintenance; (2) Legal support for attorneys; (3) Receptionist responsibilities. This important work includes the following:
- Overseeing office set-up, restructuring, conference and mail rooms organization and maintenance, ordering supplies, working with contractors, staff, and management to ensure a professional, clean, safe, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing office for staff and clients.
- Supporting attorneys as needed by filing documents, editing expense reports, making appointments, and entering billable time.
- Answering phones professionally, routing calls accordingly, taking messages and handling front office traffic.
- Assistance with any office or case-related project as needed.
REQUIRED:
- Experience working for a law firm as a legal administrative assistant, secretary, paralegal, billing coordinator, or administrator.
- Can-do attitude! This opportunity is ideal for candidates who take pride in helping an office grow and become more efficient.
- Superior communication skills and the ability to keep a level head during stressful situations.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
