San Diego (remote)

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Draft, review and proofread all documents and correspondence produced, check for proper formatting, spelling and grammatical errors, as well as ensuring that all signature pages, attachments, exhibits or enclosers are accurate and complete before distribution.
  • Execute electronic court filings and download court pleadings
  • Maintain client files (both paper and electronic), organize and file documents in designated order, and complete electronic scanning
  • Conduct accounting tasks, including processing expenses, reimbursements, invoices, pre-bills, and entering time into the Firm’s time and billing system, reviewing of billing statements, and editing same for preparation of final billing
  • Support trial preparation to include maintaining and tracking case chronology
  • Manage upkeep of multiple calendars and scheduling systems
  • Perform conflict checks, draft engagement letters in connection with file opening, and complete the file opening process
  • Coordinate and make travel arrangements
  • Coverage for other assistants, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required/Preferred Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years related experience
  • The employee will be required to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer.

Compensation Range: $65,000-$100,000 DOE
