OUR CLIENT
Our client is a Boston-based law firm with passions on client experience, DE&I, and Pro-Bono work. They were recently ranked on a “Top-Ten Law Firms to Work” list, with their summer associate program also falling within the top in the country.

THE POSITION

This crucial position will specialize in assisting families spanning multiple generations with a wide range of needs. They oversee various types of accounts such as trusts, IRA's, investment management accounts, foundations, and partnerships, effectively serving as custodians for family investment funds.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with Trustees to make administrative decisions, ensuring that assigned accounts adhere to their specific document terms.
  • Regularly communicate directly with family members across multiple generations through in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.
  • Provide support to partners and clients in various areas, including financial, personal, and estate planning matters.
  • Monitor cash flow and conduct budget analysis. Aid family members in making general financial planning decisions. Facilitate specialized reporting as required.
  • Coordinate account activity, which includes managing receipts and disbursements related to assets and beneficiary needs, as well as handling the opening, funding, and closure of accounts. Facilitate both charitable and non-charitable gifts.
  • Assume additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
  • A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or law is necessary.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of income taxes and investments, including proficiency in partnership, trust, estate planning, and estate/gift tax matters.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with clients of high net worth is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals of diverse personalities.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, including the capacity to handle multiple teams and simultaneous projects. Proven track record of successfully leading projects to completion within strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills enabling the drafting of intricate reports and spreadsheets.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office Suite products. Adaptability to quickly acquire expertise in new applications with limited formal training.

COMPENSATION
$120,000-$170,000 DOE
